Weekend Crime Blotter: Gas Station Stick-Up, Robbery Patterns and More
SHEEPSHEAD BAY – Police are looking for two men who robbed a gas station on Sunday, February 4.
The two men hit the Shell Station at 2472 Knapp Street, at Avenue Y, around 4:00 pm, said police. One of the two went behind the counter, brandishing a gun and demanding money, and the 27-year old clerk handed over about $1500. The two fled on foot, said police.

EAST WILLIAMSBURG – Police added another incident to what is an emerging pattern of burglaries over the weekend.
On Wednesday, January 31, the same individuals burglarized a house in the area of Boerum and White Streets, said police. Entering a residential apartment around 2:00 pm, they stole a wallet with credit cards, $20 and two laptops before fleeing in an unknown direction.

BRIGHTON BEACH – After a string of physical robberies in late December, police have classified a recent incident in Brighton Beach as part of a pattern, and are looking for two men wanted in connection with the crimes.
The latest attack came on Friday, January 26, in the area of Brighton 4th Street and Neptune Avenue, said police. The 48-year old male victim was walking around 1:25 am when two unknown men approached him. One of the suspects punched the victim in the face, causing bleeding and swelling, while the other removed the victim’s wallet, which contained about $100.

BED-STUY – Police are looking for two men who robbed the Venus Smokeshop at gunpoint in late January.
On Saturday, January 20, two men entered the shop at 9 Marcus Garvey Blvd, near the Flushing JMZ stop, around 3:15 pm. One of the suspects pulled out a gun and demanded money, pointing the weapon at an 18-year old customer, said police. The second suspect stole $40 from the register and $120 from the customer before both men fled.
