Weekend Coney Island Shooting Leaves Two Men Injured

Last Saturday, a teen shot and injured two 30-year-old victims in Coney Island, leaving them with buttocks wounds, police said.

The suspects approached the men on Saturday, June 17 at 1:25am, near Mermaid Avenue and West 28 Street, said cops. The male suspect whipped out a gun and fired 5 bullets, hitting both victims in the legs and one in the buttocks.

The victims were rushed to Lutheran Hospital in stable condition.

The first suspect is described by police as a black man about 18-years-old.

The second suspect is described by police as a black woman about 18-years-old.
