What: Need a haircut? Head to this nationwide event that raises money for Look Good Feel Better, a nonprofit organization that helps more than 50,000 women each year who are undergoing cancer cope with the appearance-related side effects of treatment.

Green-ovation Forum

Where: Camp Friendship, 339 8th Street
What: A series of brief presentations and tables that feature demonstrations, product samples, literature, and more about how you can adapt, retrofit, and alter your home, building, or business to be greener and more efficient.

Tea & Jam
When: Wednesday, October 23, 9pm
Where: Union Hall, 702 Union Street
What: Check out the weekly jam session that draws some of Brooklyn’s finest jazz musicians. Sip on some tea and enjoy watching them improvise.
