Secret Science Club: Quantum Chemist Garnet Chan

What: Curious about the interface of theoretical chemistry, condensed matter physics, and quantum information theory? Whether you are, or that sentence just confused the hell out of you, Professor of Chemistry at Princeton University Garnet Chan will guide you through it in this fun and informational event.

Brooklyn by the Book: A Celebration Of Stoner
When: Tuesday, November 18, 7pm
Where: Central Library, Dweck Center, 10 Grand Army Plaza
What: A conversation on the resurgence of John Williams’ 1965 novel, Stoner, with novelist Ruth Rendell, critic and classicist Daniel Mendelsohn, and poet and memoirist Honor Moore. Moderated by writer and literary critic Liesl Schillinger.
