Union Hall Song Club

Knights Of Bruklyn Quarterly Home Brew Competition

Where: Union Hall, 702 Union Street
What: Like beer? Sample some homemade brews at the second of this year’s quarterly competitions.

Tubafresh
When: Tuesday, April 21, 7pm
Where: Barbes, 376 9th Street
What: Sing-song melodies and orchestral strings lying somewhere between folk and hip-hop, with viola, trumpet, and drums.
How much: $10 strongly suggested donation.

Fun Run & Author Talk With Christopher McDougall
When: Wednesday, April 22, 5:30pm
Where: Community Bookstore, 143 7th Avenue
What: Enjoy a jog with the author of Born to Run through JackRabbit Sports, then hear him discuss his new book, Natural Born Heroes: How a Daring Band of Misfits Mastered the Lost Secrets of Strength and Endurance, at the bookstore at 7:30pm.
