Weekday Changes To Local Subway Lines
This week, we’ve got the first weekdays without G train tunnel service, some FasTrack work ends B service early, the 2 and the 4 are skipping some local stops in one direction, and more. Details from the MTA:
Flatbush Av-bound 2 trains run via the 4 after Chambers St to Franklin Av
Late nights, 11:45pm to 5am, Monday to Friday, July 28-August 1
After Chambers St, Flatbush Av-bound 2 trains are rerouted nonstop to the Wall St 4 Station, then run express via the 4 to Franklin Av and resume regular service. No Flatbush Av-bound service at Park Place, Fulton St, Wall St (on William St), Clark, Hoyt, Bergen Sts, Grand Army Plaza, and Eastern Pkwy.
New Lots Av-bound 4 trains skip Bergen St, Grand Army Plaza, and Eastern Pkwy
Late nights, 11:45pm to 5am, Monday to Friday, July 28-August 1
For service to these stations, take the 4 to Franklin Av and transfer to a Manhattan-bound 2 or 4. For service from these stations, take the 2 or 4 to Atlantic Av-Barclays Ctr and transfer to a New Lots Av-bound 4.
B service ends early

The last 145 St-bound B train departs Brighton Beach at 9:06pm; the last Brighton Beach-bound B train departs 145 St at 9:23pm.
Manhattan-bound D trains run local from 36 St, Brooklyn to DeKalb Av Evenings, beginning 8:30pm, Monday to Thursday, until July 31 Allow additional travel time.
No G trains between Nassau Av and Court Sq All times until 5am Tuesday, September 2 G service operates between Church Av and Nassau Av. Manhattan Av shuttle buses run between Nassau Av and Court Sq, stopping at Greenpoint Av and 21 St. McGuinness Blvd shuttle buses run between the Lorimer St L stop and Court Sq, stopping near G stations at Nassau Av, Greenpoint Av, and 21 St. See the full details here.
Astoria-bound N trains run local from 59 St, Brooklyn to DeKalb Av Evenings, beginning 8:30pm, Monday to Thursday, until July 31 Allow additional travel time.
No R shuttle train between 59 St and 36 St Late nights, 11:45pm to 5am, Monday to Friday, until August 15 R service operates between 95 St and 59 St. Take the N instead. Transfer between trains at 59 St.
No R trains between Lower Manhattan and Downtown Brooklyn All times until October 2014 No R service at City Hall, Cortlandt, Rector, Whitehall, Court Streets, and Jay Street-MetroTech. R service operates between Forest Hills-71st Avenue and Bay Ridge-95th Street. Trains run via the Q in both directions between Canal Street and DeKalb Avenue.
Additionally, look out for changes further along the 2, D, F, N, and Q lines.
