This Week In Restaurant Closings, Openings, Expansions And More
As winter slowly draws to a close, so to does Three Letters (930 Fulton Street) in Clinton Hill. Just one month after celebrating its two-year anniversary and half a year after adding outdoor seating, the French eatery’s owners, Pip and Cam, made the announcement to heartbroken customers on Facebook, noting that:
We’re sorry to say that today will be our last day of service. We’ve had two great years serving Clinton Hill, and made a lot of good friends in that time, but we have to move on. . . Come by and have a toast or two. Thanks for two years, everybody!
Fort Greene foodies can find some solace, however, in the expanded hours of local pizza favorite Emily (919 Fulton Street), which is now open seven days a week.
Primrose Cafe (147 Greene Avenue) has also extended its hours, opening until 10pm every day except Monday, when it is open until 6pm. Wine and beer are also available — meaning there is now Happy Hours from 4-6pm, with discounts of $2 off any wine or beer.
The addition of alcohol is great because now we can toast to Primrose’s new interior renovations, which owner Dorly Ninio notes isn’t drastic, but makes the space prettier overall.
Speaking of renovations, Sam’s Deli is now Sam’s Natural Plus (974 Fulton Street) and, according to the Fulton Area Business Alliance, is “totally renovated, with new signage and storefront” along with its new salad bar, sandwiches, grilled food, bulk dried fruits and nuts, fresh produce, and other groceries.
