This Week: Minor Headaches On The B & Q, Smooth Sailing On The F

Below you’ll find early week Sheepshead Bay subway changes on the B, Q, and F lines in Brooklyn. Check back later this week to see what’s happening this weekend. Changes via MTA.info.

B Line

145th Street-bound B trains run local from Kings Highway to Prospect Park.
Days, 9:45am-3pm, Wednesday to Friday until July 2.
Please allow additional travel time. Service change ends on a Thursday.
No B trains between Kings Highway and Brighton Beach. Q trains provide alternate service.
Days, 9:45am-3pm, Monday, June 1 and Tuesday, June 2.
B train service operates between 145th Street and Kings Highway. Transfer between B and Q trains at Kings Highway.

Q Line

Q train service operates in two sections.
Days, 10am to 3pm, Monday, June 1 and Tuesday, June 2.
  1. Between Ditmars Boulevard and Brighton Beach
  2. Between Brighton Beach and Stillwell Avenue, every 16 minutes. Transfer at Brighton Beach to continue your trip.
Coney Island-bound Q trains run express from Prospect Park to Kings Highway.
Days, 9:45am to 3pm, Wednesday to Friday, until June 26.
Trains stop at Church Avenue and Newkirk Plaza.
For service to Parkside Avenue, Beverley Road, Cortelyou Road, Avenue H, Avenue J and Avenue M, take the Q to Church Avenue, Newkirk Plaza or Kings Highway and transfer to a Manhattan-bound B* or Q.
For service from these stations, take the B or Q to Newkirk Plaza, Church Avenue or Prospect Park
and transfer to a Coney Island-bound Q.
This detour has taken into account additional planned service changes. Please allow additional travel time.
