CYPRESS HILLS – On Monday, January 14, the NYPD arrested 27-year-old Christopher Benitez for reckless endangerment on the J Train last month.

To recap, on December 18 at approximately 1:20 a.m., a man approached a 19-year-old woman on the southbound J Train inside the Cypress Hills Subway Station. According to the cops, the suspect dragged the young woman by her hair and demanded she performs a sexual act on him. After she resisted, the suspect attempted to throw her onto the tracks. He then ran.

SUNSET PARK – The NYPD needs help searching for three individuals connected to two robberies that took place last month.

On Sunday, December 16 at about 11:25 a.m., three men entered a social club at 5124 9th Avenue. One of the men displayed a gun, while the other two started stealing wallets, cash, and cell phones from 15 to 20 victims, aged 30-to-50-years-old. The total estimated value of the objects stolen is $2,300. No one was injured and the men left the scene shortly after.

That was not enough for the three suspects.

Two days later on December 18, at about 4:30 p.m., the three men entered the same club, displayed a gun, and stole wallets, cash, and cell phones from 15 to 20 victims, aged 30-to-50-years-old. This time, the estimated value of the stolen items is said to be $7,000. No injuries were reported and the suspects left the scene.

Cops describe the suspects as Hispanic men in their 20s wearing masks and dark clothing. A video is attached below.

MAPLETON – The NYPD needs help searching for two suspects involved in two burglaries last month.

On Sunday, December 16 at about 2 a.m., two men entered a nail salon by breaking through a secured gate at 6103 20th Avenue. They stole $1,000 from the register and left the location.

Then, at about 3:30 a.m., the men went inside another nail salon by breaking through a secured gate, located at 6303 18th Avenue. From there, they also took $1,000 from the register and left.

Cops describe the suspects as two men wearing dark colored masks and hoodied. A photo is attached below from the first incident.
