DUMBO – After an assault on the F train, police have released photos of the suspect they’re searching for, hoping the public can help track him down.

Around 4:00 pm on Wednesday, November 28, the suspect got into a verbal dispute over a seat with a 50-year-old man on the F train as they approached York Street station, police said. When the dispute escalated, it got physical, with the suspect punching and kicking his victim, cutting his lip and his head, police said.

The suspect fled the train into York Street station, while the victim remained behind. Police said the victim refused medical attention at the scene. A picture of the suspect can be seen below:

CANARSIE – Police are still on the hunt for the man who stole a running car in Flatlands last week and took it for a brief ride—with three kids in the back seat…

Last Friday, December 7, around 4:30 pm, the suspect hopped in a running, unattended Acura MDX that was at the corner of Flatlands Avenue and East 81st Street, police said. It’s likely the thief wasn’t aware that there were an 8-year-old girl, a 2-year-old boy and a 1-year-old baby girl in the rear seat, however, and he ended his ride quickly.

When the owners reported the car stolen, a thorough canvass of the area was ordered and the vehicle was found shortly after, abandoned just a couple blocks away at Farragut and East 78th Street, police said. The kids were unhurt.

The would-be car thief, however, is still at large. Police have released the following video in an attempt to identify the suspect:

BED-STUY – Police have released surveillance video of two men wanted in connection with the killing of 21-year-old Jahlil Grant in Bed-Stuy last week.

Grant was killed near the Roosevelt Houses, at the corner of Marcus Garvey and Pulaski, around 2:00 pm on Thursday, December 4, police said. The young man from Crown Heights was shot once in the neck and died from his injuries, while another man was shot in the hip and survived.

Video of the suspects can be seen below:

EAST FLATBUSH – Finally, police have made an arrest in the killing of a young East Flatbush man, who was gunned down on a street corner all the way back in May of 2017.

Jeremy Germain, 21, was shot multiple times in the back and arm near East 48th Street and Snyder Avenue, around 9:15 pm on May 27, 2017. He was rushed to Kings County Hospital by EMS and pronounced dead on arrival, said police.

Now, more than a year and a half later, police have arrested and charged a man suspected of being his killer. Yesterday, the NYPD announced they’d arrested Robeirto Roberts, 40, of East Flatbush, and charged him with murder and criminal possession of a firearm.
