Watch 'The Seagull' Performed For Free In Prospect Park
Check out Anton Chekhov’s play The Seagull outdoors and for free at Prospect Park! New York Classical Theatre is bringing its production to the Rustic Shelter by Lakeside (it’s close to the park’s entrance at Parkside and Ocean) each night at 7pm from June 25-30.
The company has been performing the play in Central Park since May, and in a review the Times reassures those new to Chekhov that even though there are a lot of characters, they are “actually easy to keep straight because each is miserable — or deluded — in his or her own way.”
