Watch Out For Falling Branches
Seems that yesterday’s rain caused a bit of havoc around the neighborhood — we noticed a lot of fallen branches, most small, until we passed this large one on Westminster Road near Cortelyou. The car it fell on didn’t look too damaged, luckily.
We also heard about a branch falling and injuring a man over the weekend in Prospect Park. A Walk in the Park reports the victim was transported to Kings County, and that his condition is unknown.
The fallen branch on Westminster looked like it was pretty dead, so this is a good reminder to call 311 or fill out a form online to report any dead or dangling tree limbs that you see in the area.
