PROSPECT HEIGHTS – A new supermarket could potentially replace 15 parking spaces in an existing condo building located at 35 Underhill Avenue between Pacific and Dean Streets, according to New York YIMBY.

The real estate site reported on Silvershore Properties 97 LLC’s proposal to add The Washington Avenue Food Market to the ground-floor level of the building.

Built in 2005, the six-story property features a 5,825-square-foot parking garage, according to Property Shark.

The building, called The Washington, consists of two towers “connected by a peaceful Zen inspired interior courtyard garden” housing 39 units, according to its Street Easy listing. The apartments feature gourmet kitchens and each condo boasts at least two full bathrooms.

The listing also notes “private on-site parking” at the building, but it is unclear what will happen to the displaced cars if plans for the market move ahead.

The estimated completion date for Washington Avenue Food Market is 2020, according to YIMBY, but rezoning applications for the project must still be first approved.
