Vote now to help make St. Joseph’s College senior David Louison the first Brooklyn student athlete to play in the Reese’s Division III College All-Star Game on March 21 — the game that will be an opener of sorts to the NCAA Division III Men’s Basketball Championship later that night in Salem, Virginia.

Louison, a senior forward for the St. Joseph’s Bears, was named a finalist for the game, which will feature 18 college seniors from around the country. Voting ends at noon this Wednesday, March 11.

The chance to play in this tournament comes on the heels of the senior forward’s selection as one of the top five student-athletes across over 400 Division III men’s basketball schools nationally — the first St. Joseph’s Brooklyn Campus student-athlete to receive the honor.

Specifically, Louison was named to the 2014-2015 CoSIDA/Capital One Academic All-America First Team, USCAA Student-Athlete of the Year and HVIAC Player of the Year.

Louison is a Brooklyn native majoring in criminal justice.
