Volunteer and Help Animals Get Adopted at Sean Casey

Sean Casey Animal Rescue has an opportunity available for a moderately web-savvy volunteer to help input photos and info about animals they have available for adoption. You will be helping get those pets adopted by getting them some exposure, and it will only take about 1-3 hours a week, which you can do at home after a brief training session at the shelter on E 3rd St. If you’re interested, email nyanimalrescue@yahoo.com and put “Attn: Theresa” in the subject line.

Speaking of Sean Casey, did you see that he captured Prospect Park’s Ghost Dog? The dog’s a 109-pound Cane Corso that’s been spotted in the park for about four years, but was elusive, and seemed happy enough out there on his own. Until recently, that is, when he was spotted being lethargic and looking injured. Sean caught him with some help, and now the huge animal is at the shelter, seeming pretty okay with it, and Sean says he’ll be doing “what’s best for the dog” when finding him a new home.
