Video of Albemarle Robbery Suspects Released

The NYPD has released this video of the suspects they are searching for in connection to a Saturday afternoon robbery last month on Albemarle Road.

According to police, at about 4pm on April 21 near the Rugby Road, one of the male suspects approached the 34-year-old victim, stood in front of him and stated, “Don’t turn around, don’t look up and you won’t get hurt.” The second male suspect, standing behind the victim, then went through the victim’s pockets and removed the victim’s property, including a cell phone and wallet.

The suspects then fled southbound on Rugby, and were later observed using the victim’s credit card at the McDonald’s at 942 Flatbush Ave.

Suspect #1 is described as male, black, approximately 17-25 years old, 5’7″, slim build, wearing a green hooded sweatshirt.

Suspect #2 is described as male, black, approximately 17-25 years old, 5’7″, slim build, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and a baseball cap.

Anyone with information in regards is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477). The public can also submit tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website or by texting tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then entering TIP577.
