VIDEO: MTA Snow Thrower Clears Off N Line Tracks

Ever wonder how the snow gets cleared out from open-cut subway lines like the N line?

Wonder no more. The MTA has released a video showing the MTA’s “snow thrower” train running down the Sea Beach N line, literally vacuuming up the white stuff and shooting it out the side.

The machine also has a bristly scrub brush to give the tracks a little polish.

I’m sure there’s a use for this thing in the zombie apocalypse, too. Absolutely sure of it.
