Video: Man Runs Off After Snatching Woman’s Wallet In Fort Greene, Police Say
A man was caught on camera running down the street after stealing a woman’s wallet in Fort Greene, police said.
The suspect approached the 27-year-old victim at the corner of South Portland and Lafayette avenues at 7:25 p.m. on Aug. 21., when the man snatched her wallet, police sources said.
The thief then fled on foot northbound on South Portland Avenue, cops said. The woman was not injured during the incident, police said.
The suspect stands at 5-foot-7, has black hair, and was wearing black shorts, white sneakers, and a black t-shirt, according to police.
