Two vacant lots in Fort Greene will be turned into townhouses — two four-story single-family homes and one three-story building with two condos — according to a report by New York YIMBY based on city records with the Department of Buildings.

The projects will be around the corner from each other at 370-374 Clermont Avenue and 71 Greene Avenue, and will be developed by Douglaston Development.

The Clermont Avenue lot will site one of the single-family homes and the three-story/two-condo building of approximately 3,885 square feet each condo.

The Greene Avenue space will hold the other four-story, single-family building, designed by GF55 Partners.

These developments are a change of pace compared to other recently announced projects that have focused primarily on large apartment buildings for multiple-tenants, often on sites that already have or have had businesses on them.
