Urban Planning Specialist Paul Graziano Discusses Rezoning At Madison-Marine-Homecrest Civic Meeting
Carmine Carro Community Center

The next meeting of the Madison-Marine-Homecrest Civic Association is Thursday, April 16, 7:30pm at the Carmine Carro Community Center in Marine Park, Fillmore Avenue at Marine Parkway.

The meeting’s agenda features a presentation on the re-zoning plan by Paul Graziano, an urban planning specialist and past president of the Historic Districts Council.

According to an email from the Madison-Marine-Homecrest Civic:

The City is proposing City-wide zoning changes that could have significant implications on many neighborhoods. It is important that we quickly acquaint ourselves with the proposal and its potential impact on the quality of life, including questions about the prospect of higher and bulkier buildings, in our community and across the City.
There also is concern about the questionable outreach by the City to develop public awareness of the proposal and its hearing process (leaving it to civics to promote/and public hearings planned at summertime).

The meeting is free and open to the public — all are invited to attend.
