A 29-year-old woman was robbed and then raped in a taxi outside of her Sunset Park residence, cops say.

The incident took place early Saturday morning, January 7 at approximately 3:00am.

Police say the driver picked up the victim at Cancun Bar at 513 Coney Island Avenue near Turner Place on the border of the Kensington and Ditmas Park neighborhoods.

He then drove the woman to her home in what police described as a red mini-van. After pulling up in front of the victim’s home in Sunset Park, the driver pulled out a knife and demanded money from her. Cops say the woman complied and gave the driver cash.

The driver then got into the back seat of the mini-van and forcibly raped the woman.
