Upcoming Trial Classes For Kids In Ditmas Park

If you and your kids love tapping your feet and listening to some good tunes, you’ll be happy to hear that there are a number of upcoming trial music and dance classes for our younger neighbors and their families.

City Stomp Music is launching its fall semester in our neighborhood, and they’ll host a free trial class this Friday, September 12, at 10am. It will be held at 1225 Ditmas Avenue, at the corner of Argyle Road (it’s a private residence). You must RSVP to Kevin at info@citystompmusic.com to reserve a spot.

In an email that the folks at City Stomp wrote to us, they said that the group offers music classes for children between the ages of 6 months and 4 years old in New York City.

“The City Stomp music program celebrates the diversity of our city and seeks to expose NYC kids to the music of other cultures that live around them,” City Stomp wrote.

Latin Fever (1609 Cortelyou Road) will be offering $10 trial classes for children throughout the month of September. Children ages 3 to 4 can participate in a “corporal expression” trial class from 4-4:45pm each Monday through the end of the month, and children ages 5 to 7 can attend hip hip trial classes from 5-6pm each Monday through the end of September.
