Typo On City Website Creates Confusion About 18th Avenue Feast

The incorrect calender in question on NYC.gov

Please see our more recent post for the latest news on the 18th Avenue Feast.

Well, it looks like it’s on after all, and the hubbub about the 18th Avenue feast being shortened was for nothing. Due to a typo on the city’s (still uncorrected) official events calender, we – and some city officials – were led to believe that the feast would be cut to one day.

It looks like the 18th Avenue Feast will be held, as usual, for 10 days.

According to the mayor’s office, the 2011 Festa di Santa Rosalia  will take place from August 25 to September 4.
