Two Young Men Smash Teen Girl’s Phone During Robbery in Boro Park

BORO PARK — A teenage girl was robbed early Wednesday by two young men who smashed her phone in Boro Park.

On Wednesday, November 27, around 1.25 a.m., in front of 1164 60th Street, an 18-year-old girl was walking home when two unidentified young men in their late teens approached her from behind and demanded money.

The victim attempted to use her cell phone to call for help, when one of the robbers snatched the phone and smashed it onto the ground; out of shock, the victim also dropped to the ground, cops said.

One of the suspects proceeded to remove $270 in cash from the victim’s belongings before both of the young men fled in unknown direction. The victim was not injured as a result of this incident.

No further information was provided by the NYPD, the investigation is ongoing.
