Two Men Steal $3,000 In Jewelry From Myrtle Avenue Shop
FORT GREENE – The NYPD is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the two men seen in the below surveillance video wanted in connection to a robbery at a Myrtle Avenue shop last week.
At approximately 1:30pm on Friday, September 15, two men entered the fair trade gift shop, 21 Tara, located at 388 Myrtle Avenue (between Clermont and Vanderbilt Avenues). One of the men distracted the store employee while the other man removed jewelry, approximately $3,000 in value, from a display, police said.
The two suspects are described as follows:
Individual 1 – Hispanic male wearing a blue baseball cap, blue shirt, and eye glasses.
Individual 2 – Hispanic male wearing a dark baseball cap and red t-shirt.
