Two Men Shot In Gowanus Friday Night

GOWANUS – Two men were reportedly shot while sitting in a parked car on Baltic Street near the Gowanus Houses Friday night.

Police responded to a call at 426 Baltic Street (between Hoyt and Bond Streets) at approximately 11:20pm on Friday, September 22, a NYPD representative says.

There they found one 26-year-old man with gunshot wounds to his neck and arm and a 27-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his head. Both victims were taken to Methodist Hospital where they are listed in stable condition, according to police.

The shooter allegedly walked up to the parked car on Baltic Street in which the two victims were sitting and fired on the men before fleeing the scene, News 12 reports.

A description of the suspect has not been released yet. The investigation is ongoing.
