Two people were rushed to the hospital after being shot at 862 Coney Island Avenue, by Ditmas Avenue, at about 8pm Monday night, the NYPD said.

A 50-year-old man was shot in the chest, and a 29-year-old man was shot in the leg, according to police. Both were taken to Kings County Hospital and are in stable condition, officials said.

Police told us this morning there has been no arrest in this shooting, which took place in the confines of the 66th Precinct, and the investigation is ongoing.

Monday night’s incident follows a number of shootings in our area, including a 21-year-old man who was shot in the head on E. 21st Street, by Ditmas Avenue, early Monday morning and a 22-year-old neighbor who was fatally shot in the head on Crooke Avenue earlier this month.
