Two Men Go Missing In Southern Brooklyn On Christmas Day

Police are asking for the public’s assistance finding two men who were reported missing in southern Brooklyn on Christmas Day.

The NYPD did not say the missing person reports are related.

Cops say 81-year-old Santos Carrasquillo was last seen leaving Coney Island Hospital just before 5am on December 25.

Police describe Carrasquillo, a Coney Island resident, as five feet, four inches tall and 150 pounds. News 12 Brooklyn reports that he suffers from Dementia.

Cops are also searching for 59-year-old Alexey Goryunov, who was last seen at 8pm on Christmas Day leaving his home near Brighton 6th Street and Ocean View Avenue.

Goryunov is described as a white man, five feet, nine inches tall, 170 pounds and wearing blue jeans, a white t-shirt, black hat, and a black jacket with the word “Alaska” at the time he disappeared.

Anyone with information is asked to call the NYPD’s crime stoppers hotline at 800-577-TIPS. The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the crime stoppers website or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) and then entering TIP577.
