Twin Peaks Reboot Films At The Grand Prospect Hall
It looks like Twin Peaks moved into South Slope for a filming of its series reboot that’s coming up for Showtime.
Instead of searching for a “damn fine” cup of coffee and a warm slice of cherry pie, the film crew camped out at The Grand Prospect Hall (263 Prospect Avenue).
Grand Prospect Hall owner Michael Halkias told DNAinfo his venue was “under total occupation,” while Gothamist posted photos of both costumes and production crew vehicles.
Here’s what next year’s Halloween costumes are made of. Taken in haste with “NO PHOTOS!” being shouted at me. This is a rack of wardrobe for the upcoming Twin Peaks reboot. Being shot literally across the street from my house. ???☕️? #twinpeaks #davidlynch #specialagentdalecooper #brooklyn #nyc A photo posted by Lindsey E. Moore (@lieuuuu) on
We’ve reached out to Showtime for comment, but have yet to hear back for any details about the filming — we’ll update this post if we do.
Are you looking forward to the Twin Peaks reboot? Have you seen Laura Palmer wandering around the neighborhood hoping to make her dreams come true?
If you snapped any pics of the filming, send them our way at editor@bklyner.com, and we’ll add them here!
