Trio Wanted For String Of Robberies Hit More Brooklyn Businesses

The NYPD has released a new video of three suspects they’ve been pursuing since late January for several armed robberies in our borough. The group has been connected to at least 14 incidents throughout the 66th, 69th, 67th, 73rd, 63rd, 70th, 71st, 75th, and 113th Precincts.

In each incident, the suspects have displayed one gun and removed money from the cash register of the business in question, as well as often taking money from business patrons. Thankfully, no injuries have been reported.

The incidents closest to our area include a February 20 robbery at Crown Grilled Chicken (1611 Cortelyou Road between 16th and 17th Streets), as well as a robbery at Express Laundry (2149 Caton Avenue between Flatbush and Bedford Avenues), which took place at 11:48pm on Saturday, June 7. The video above is from the June 7 incident.

The public can also submit tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website or by texting your tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then entering TIP577. The NYPD says all calls are confidential.
