Tribeca Pediatrics Opening On Cortelyou Road In November

Tribeca Pediatrics announced this week that it plans to open its new Cortelyou Road location on November 5.

The practice, which announced that it would take over the former John’s Bakery at 1322 Cortelyou Road in July, has locations throughout the city and had previously looked into opening a space on Coney Island Avenue.

According to the company’s newsletter, the practice will be led by Dr. Danijela Kero and Dr. Farid Moustafi.

Founded by Dr. Michel Cohen in 1994, the business was originally located in Dr. Cohen’s Tribeca loft where he lived with his family. According to Tribeca Pediatrics’ website, the doctor’s “practice became very popular with local parents who loved his low intervention approach, personal touch and high quality of care.”

Dr. Cohen told us in August, “I am very excited to open an office in Ditmas! I love the neighborhood which I got to know while my daughter lived there.”
