Transit Disruptions This Week: Late Night Trouble On A & G Lines, But Otherwise A Walk In The Park

Below you’ll find early week Park Slope subway changes on the 2, 3, 4, 5, B, D, F, G, N, Q and R lines in Brooklyn. Check back later this week to see what’s happening this weekend. Changes via MTA.info.

3 Line

Rockaway Avenue and Van Siclen Avenue 3 train stations are closed for renovation.
All times, until late September 2015.
Trains skip Rockaway and Van Siclen avenues in both directions.
To get to Rockaway Avenue, use the Saratoga Avenue or Junius Street stations instead.
To get to Van Siclen Avenue, use the Pennsylvania Avenue or New Lots Avenue stations instead.

4 Line

Rockaway Avenue and Van Siclen Avenue 4 train stations are closed for renovation.
All times, until late September 2015.
Trains skip Rockaway and Van Siclen avenues in both directions.
To get to Rockaway Avenue, use the Saratoga Avenue or Junius Street stations instead.

A Line

No A trains between Euclid Avenue and Lefferts Boulevard. Free shuttle buses provide alternate service.
Late nights, 12:01am to 5am, Wednesday to Friday, September 9-11 and Tuesday to Friday, September 15-18 and September 22-25.
A train service operates in two sections:
Between 207th Street and Euclid Avenue
Between Rockaway Boulevard and Mott Avenue
Travel Alternatives
Shuttle buses operate between Euclid Avenue and Lefferts Boulevard, making stops at Grant Avenue, 80th Street, 88th Street, Rockaway Boulevard, 104th Street and 111th Street. Transfer between trains and shuttle buses at Euclid Avenue and/or Rockaway Boulevard.

B Line

Brighton Beach-bound B trains run local from Prospect Park to Kings Highway.
Days, 9:45am to 3pm, Wednesdays to Fridays until September 18.
Please allow additional travel time.

F Line

Avenue X and Ditmas Avenue F Train Station Closures and Information.
The Manhattan-bound platform at Avenue X is closed for renovation until winter 2015/16. The Manhattan-bound platform at Ditmas Avenue is closed for renovation until fall 2015.
Travel Alternatives:
Avenue X
For service to this station, take the F to Avenue U and transfer to a Coney Island-bound F.
For service from this station, take the F to Neptune Avenue and transfer to a Jamaica-bound F.
Ditmas Avenue
For service to this station, take the F to Church Avenue and transfer to a Coney Island-bound F.
For service from this station, take the F to 18th Avenue and transfer to a Jamaica-bound F.

G Line

No G trains between Hoyt-Schermerhorn Street and Church Avenue. A and F trains provide alternate service.
Late nights, 11pm to 5am, Tuesday to Friday, September 8-11.
No G train service at Bergen Street, Carroll Street, Smith-9th streets, 4th Avenue-9th Street, 7th Avenue, 15th Street-Prospect Park, Fort Hamilton Parkway and Church Avenue. Take the F instead.
Transfer between A and G trains at Hoyt-Schermerhorn. Transfer between A and F trains at Jay Street-MetroTech.
G service operates in two sections:
Between Court Square and Bedford-Nostrand avenues
Between Bedford-Nostrand avenues and Hoyt-Schermerhorn
Transfer at Bedford-Nostrand avenues to continue your trip.

Q Line

Manhattan-bound Q trains run express from Kings Highway to Prospect Park.
Days, 9:45am to 3pm, Wednesday to Friday, until September 18.
Trains stop at Newkirk Plaza and Church Avenue. For service to Avenue M, Avenue J, Avenue H, Cortelyou Road, Beverley Road and Parkside Avenue, take the Q to Newkirk Plaza, Church Avenue or Prospect Park and transfer to a Brighton Beach-bound B* or Coney Island-bound Q.
For service from these stations, take the B or Q to Church Avenue, Newkirk Plaza or Kings Highway and transfer to a Manhattan-bound Q.
*This detour has taken into account additional planned service changes.
