Tragic Car Crash Claims Life Of Clinton Hill Newlywed And Injures His Wife
In a tragic end to what was supposed to be a long, happy life together, Clinton Hill newlyweds Keturah and Jeremiah Grünblatt were involved in a car crash that killed Jeremiah, 42, and left Keturah, 39, injured.
Two others were also injured — the driver and a passenger of the bus that the Grünblatt’s SUV collided with — in the incident, which occurred in Greenport, Long Island, out in Suffolk County just before noon on Wednesday, September 30.
The couple had just married Sunday at Grand Ferry Park in Williamsburg.
Keturah’s mother, Catherine Stickann, told the New York Daily News, that “they were just the perfect couple. That’s all I can tell you.”
Gothamist also notes that:
The couple’s wedding website describes themselves—he was an artist while she is an opera director and choreographer—and their relationship, noting they started dating in 2011, “The magic of the internet brought us together, though we are often baffled at the fact that we didn’t somehow meet before we did.”
Police are still investigating the cause of the accident.
