Toy Space On Cortelyou Is Closing

If you’ve walked by Toy Space (1410 Cortelyou Road between Rugby and Marlborough Roads) over the past few days, you may have noticed a For Rent sign in the store window. A shop employee confirms the store will be closing for good at the end of March, making the increasingly family filled Ditmas Park just a little less kid-friendly.

Toy Space devotees need not panic too much, though, because all inventory is being moved to the store’s other location in the South Slope (426 7th Avenue between 14th and 15th Streets), which is a 5-10 minute drive away and easily accessible via the 15th Street-Prospect Park or 7th Avenue stops on the F/G.

We’ll miss you right in the neighborhood, Toy Space–but good luck carrying on in the Slope!
