Another celebrity is moving into — or at least buying property in — Fort Greene, but this time, it’s a celebrity chef.

“Top Chef” judge and New York City restauranteur Tom Colicchio reportedly bought a three-story townhouse on Adelphi Street between Lafayette and Greene Avenues for $2.4 million, according to property records first noticed by The Real Deal.

Known for his restaurants Colicchio & Sons and Craft Restaurants, Colicchio could be choosing to move his family to a quieter neighborhood than his Meatpacking District home — and, if so, then could a Brooklyn Colicchio eatery be next on the horizon? Fort Greene and Clinton Hill are home to many restauranteurs who stick close to home for their mini-empires; just look at Chelsea and Ben Altman of Pequena and Bar Bolinas.

We’ll just have to wait and see, though. Would you be excited for a Colicchio-helmed eatery in the neighborhood?
