Over the last 10 years, 2,673 residential transactions have taken place in Ditmas Park, with a median sale price of $329,550. But have you ever wondered what were the biggest residential sales? Real estate listings portal Point2 Homes now gives you the resources to find out.

Together with its sister company PropertyShark, Point2 Homes has come up with a list of the top 5 biggest residential transactions that happened in Ditmas Park in the last 10+ years (including 2003), including four single-family homes and a two-family home. Without further ado, here are the biggest sales ever recorded in Ditmas Park:

#1: 147 Rugby Road
The biggest sale happened in the third quarter of 2013, and it’s a two-story single family home at 147 Rugby Road. It was sold on September 25 for $2,200,000.

#2: 145 Argyle Road
The two-family home (converted from one-family) at 145 Argyle Road comes in second, with a selling price of $2,020,000. The price reflects the extra lot that came with the property, the product of the house next door being demolished in a fire. It was transactioned on November 20, 2012.

#3: 114 Westminster Road
Third in our list is another sale that happened this year. Mary Kay Gallagher sold the two-story, detached single family home at 114 Westminster Road sold on August 14 for $2,000,000.

#4: 484 East 17th Street
Another two-story single family home (and another Mary Kay sale) comes in at number four. The home at 484 East 17th Street was sold on June 13, 2006 for $1,900,000.

#5: 104 Buckingham Road
Finally, closing off Point2 Homes’ top five is the two-story, detached, single family home at 104 Buckingham Road. It was transactioned on February 21, 2008 for $1,850,000.

Considering two of the three top sales were only a few months ago in 2013 (and the $100,000 worth of confidence one local property owner just gained in his largely-unchanged building), it looks like local home prices are on their way towards Park Slope status. Do you think it’s high time we caught up, or are you dreading getting nearer to being priced out?
