Tonight: One Lucky Fan May Win $40,000 During WWE SummerSlam Night At MCU Park

For the price of a $10 ticket, one lucky Cyclones fan may have the chance to win a big pile of money tonight.

The Cyclones announced they are expecting their 4 millionth fan to attend WWE SummerSlam Night Wednesday evening, when wresting superstars will be signing autographs and playing a softball match just before the home team takes the field agains the Lowell Spinners.

The milestone fan will be allowed to take the mound and have seven chances to throw a baseball through a 12-inch hole. If the fan succeeds three times, he or she will walk away with $40,000 (or 4 million pennies).

In addition, the fan will receive:

  • Four season Tickets for the 2016 Brooklyn Cyclones season.
  • Four Black & Gold Club Tickets for the 2015 Brooklyn Bolts Season.
  • Four rides on the world-famous Coney Island Roller Coaster.
  • Four tickets to a 2015 regular season Mets game.
  • Dinner for four at Applebee’s.
  • Four tickets to Ring of Honor at MCU Park on August 22nd.
  • Four tickets for Boxing at the Beach at MCU Park on August 25th.
  • A personalized Cyclones jersey
  • The opportunity to join Stu Johnson, the Cyclones’ play-by-play announcer, to call the fourth inning of that night’s game on the radio.

The Brooklyn Cyclones have drawn 3,997,566 fans to MCU Park since 2001, and will become the first New York-Penn League franchise to break 4 million, the ball club announced.

To promote SummerSlam at the Barclays Center this Sunday, WWE superstars Ryback, Fandango, Eva Marie, and Charlotte are scheduled to be signing autographs at MCU Park. They will play a pre-game softball match against members of the FDNY, NYPD, and other civil servants. Mets Hall of Famer John Franco, and Good Day New York’s Greg Kelly and Rosanna Scotto are also expected to participate.

Gates open for general ticket holders between 5:20pm and 5:30pm.
