Tonight: Free Food Tasting At Soft Opening Of Avenue U’s Tre Fontane

A preview of the new Italian restaurant coming to Avenue U.

A new, upscale Italian restaurant and lounge is coming to town, and tonight they are offering neighbors a taste of Italy — free of charge!

Foodies will have to wait another two weeks before Tre Fontane officially opens its doors at 222 Avenue U, but for one night only, the owners are letting folks in to preview their sophisticated, multimillion dollar new digs and sample some of their upcoming signature dishes.

“No costs have been spared in building the restaurant and lower-level party hall. Everything from the fountains, to the tile floors, to the garbage can out front have been imported from Italy,” tipster Joe DeMarco told us. “Even the chef is from Italy.”

The soft opening starts tonight at 7:30pm.
