If you weren’t sure if you were going to go to the Community Board 14 meeting or the Windsor Terrace Food Co-op gathering tonight, Monday, February 9, you no longer have to worry.

The CB 14 meeting will still be held at 7:30pm at PS 249 (18 Marlborough Road, by Caton Avenue), but the food co-op has postponed its first all-members meeting because of the bad weather.

At tonight’s CB 14 meeting, you’ll get a chance to learn about various happenings in our community, including updates on transportation, public safety, youth services, and more. To see the full agenda, you can go here. Additionally, if you have concerns about the neighborhood, you’re welcome to attend tonight’s meeting and address the board or connect with elected officials, police officers and other community leaders there.

As for the co-op meeting, it will be rescheduled. When the meeting happens, neighbors will discuss what they’d like the Windsor Terrace Food Co-op to offer when it opens at 825 Caton Avenue on March 21, as well as what days they would like it to operate.

For more information about the incoming co-op, you can visit its website. Or, if you have questions about becoming a member – or the co-op in general, you can send an email to windsorterracefoodcoop@gmail.com.
