(NOTE: The meeting has been rescheduled to Wednesday, October 7 at 6pm at the Fort Greene Park Visitor’s Center.)

It’s last minute, but if you are a fan of Fort Greene Park and can make it to Ingersoll Community Center (177 Myrtle Avenue) tonight, then head on over at 6pm to provide input to the Parks Department about how to reconstruct and improve our park’s stone and paved pathways.

Called a “scope meeting,” the event brings Parks staff, the project designer, community leaders, and residents together — everyone shares ideas and the designer uses it to prepare the design.

In our case, the project at hand is an upcoming $3 million capital reconstruction of park pathways. The project IS going to happen; we now need to let them know what details to pay attention to.

So, tonight at 6pm at Ingersoll Community Center.
