Tonight: Address Concerns & Learn About Our Neighborhood At The Community Board 2 Meeting

Want to learn more about our neighborhood? Having a problem in our area that you’d like to discuss with community leaders? Just want to meet some other civically-minded neighbors?

You can do that and more tonight, Wednesday, June 10, at the Community Board 2 meeting.

CB 2, which covers Fort Greene, Clinton Hill, Wallabout, and other surrounding neighborhoods such as Downtown Brooklyn, DUMBO, and Brooklyn Heights, will hold its monthly general meeting Monday evening at 7:30pm at Phoenix House, 50 Jay Street (between Water and Plymouth Streets).

This is the second to last meeting before summer break; usually, June marks the last meeting until September, but CB 2 has a particularly full agenda to handle right now, so this year, there will be a July meeting, as well.

During the gathering, the board will update neighbors on a range of topics, including transportation, public safety, youth services, and more. To see the full calendar, you can go here.

All members of the public are welcome to attend, as well as to address the board about any concerns or announcements you may have. If you wish to address the board, you’ll need to sign up ahead of time. To do so, you can call CB 2 at 718-596-5410, or you can sign up prior to the beginning of the meeting.
