Tonight: 66th Precinct Community Council Meets At 7:30 At The CB 12 Headquarters
Hear ye, hear ye!
Don’t let all this focus on the Ditmas Park restaurant/café robberies distract you.
The 66th Precinct’s Community Council meets tonight at 7:30 p.m. in CB 12‘s offices, 5910 13th Ave (between 59th and 60th streets) in Boro Park. It has jurisdiction of the west side of Coney Island Avenue from Fort Hamilton Parkway/Caton Avenue south to Kings Highway/Avenue P and includes parts of Midwood, all but a tiny piece of Kensington, and Boro Park. Ocean Parkway falls within its boundary.
Want to know what’s going on in the precinct, or in your neighborhood, or tell the brass about problems/complaints you have that you’d like the precinct to fix? This is your chance. The Commander, Deputy Inspector Michael Deddo, begins each meeting with his monthly update on what’s happening and then opens the floor to the audience. In addition, he’ll introduce the “Cops of the Month,” the Community Affairs officers, and the auxiliaries that support him.
From Kensington, it’s only a bus trip away on the B16 or B9. Come check it out.
