homeowner-help

Buying, fixing or paying off a home? A resource workshop offering help for homeowners, with the ins and outs on how to avoid foreclosure and keep money in your pockets, among other things, is being offered at the Sheepshead Bay branch of the Brooklyn Public Library (2636 East 14th Street) tomorrow evening.

Slated to kick off at 5:30pm, the two-hour long event will cover purchasing a home, condo or co-op, refinancing a mortgage, reviewing insurance policies, ways to keep your bills down and how to avoid fees, fines and scams, as well as other useful information.

The first 20 registrants get a free go-bag to keep in their homes in case of an emergency evacuation, something anybody in the flood area should keep on hand.

Register by calling (347) 982-2720.
