Tomorrow Night: Church Café Wine Bar To Hold Opening Reception For New Art Exhibit Program

Tomorrow night, the Church Café Wine Bar (416 Church Avenue) will holds its opening reception for the launch of a new program of exhibit “exploring art as a token of personal connection and catalyst in the establishment of community” at the Kensington restaurant.

The program will be curated by Harry Kapsales, and the first show will present work from artists who either are local, or have once lived in our borough. Featured artists will include Drew Bonadio, Emily Rosen,Kris Waldherr, Mary Louise Geering, Marilyn Glinka, Oriana Lewton Leopold, Susan Davis, and Tom “Chardonnay” Peterson.

The restaurant said that “in keeping with the spirit of art as a catalyst for community,” they will donate 20 percent of the funds from the art sales to the Brooklyn Symphony Orchestra.
