Tomorrow: 61st Precinct Community Council Meeting

The 61st Precinct Community Council is having its April meeting tomorrow night at the Homecrest Presbyterian Church. Kicking off at 7:30 p.m., the meeting is the most effective way to get the attention of precinct officials, including Captain Georgios Mastrokostas who will be attending. So if you’re noticing a pattern of crime-related issues in your area that may be going unnoticed by the NYPD, this is where you should go to bring attention to it. And, of course, if you’d just like to say “Thank you” for all the work the officers are doing for the community, this is the place to do it. The Homecrest Presbyterian Church is located 1413 Avenue T (corner of East 15th Street). History buffs should come, too – this is an opportunity to see the inside of one of Sheepshead Bay’s oldest buildings.

And if you haven’t yet, check out this video of Sgt. Doyle (Community Affairs Division) reading a list of car types targeted for rim and wheel theft.
