Today: Local Bands Throw End Of School Ball
A handful of high school students from the Sheepshead Bay area are putting together a musical smackdown to usher in summer. The talented teens will play a diverse set, if their Youtube/MySpace pages are any indication, and should be a great show. Come out and give these performers your support; Lord knows they’re doing a heck of a lot more than I did in high school.
Among the bands playing are Hobnob, Excelery, Moot Point, Anachronista, Ghengisonogram and Karinina.
Tickets are a mere $8 at the door, and the show is kicking off at 4:30 p.m. (doors open at 4 p.m.) in the Grand Ballroom of the East Midwood Jewish Center (1625 Ocean Avenue).
