TJMaxx Watch Thief Needed For Questioning

KINGS HIGHWAY: NYPD is looking for help from the public to identify and locate the person captured in the surveillance images. They provide the following details:

A man described to be about 5’10”, 165lbs, entered TJ Maxx store at 1630 East 15th Street, a block away from the Kings Highway Q/B stop.

He was wearing a gray t-shirt, dark blue jeans and black sneakers. It was late morning, about 9:50am, on Friday, July 28.

He walked over to the jewelry counter, picked out a watch and asked to see it. The watch was expensive – $2400, cops say. But rather than buy the watch, this man fled through the side exit to parts unknown.

TJMaxx seems to have excellent security cameras installed, that captured this individual’s likeness in great detail.

Anyone with information in regards to these incidents is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).  The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime stoppers website at WWW.NYPDCRIMESTOPPERS.COM or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then enter TIP577. All calls are strictly confidential.
