A Sign With Manners
This mannerly sign is posted near a private house to make sure no one blocks the driveway. You can see the sign for yourself on East 12 between Ave R and Ave S in Gravesend.
It’s nice to know there are still a few people in Brooklyn who are polite and who know the value of a simple “Please” — even when they don’t have to say it.
It’s not beyond Coney Island Ave, so can we claim this one as our very own? Sheepshead Bay could use a polite sign, since there seems to be a shortage of consideration for others.
