MIDWOOD – Another credit card skimmer was installed at an Apple Bank, this time in Midwood, in what appears to be a pattern of crimes by the same suspects, say police.

On Friday, December 8, 2017, just before 7:00 pm, the two suspects installed a credit card skimmer and small camera on an ATM at the Apple Bank located at 1617 Avenue M, said police. Two days later, on December 10, the suspects returned to collect the devices.

So far, no fraudulent charges have been reported in connection with this incident, said police. A previous attempt at skimming credit card numbers, apparently carried out by the same suspects, occurred in November, at an Apple Bank in Brighton Beach.
