#ThrowbackThursday: The Masonic Temple on Clermont Avenue
This week’s #ThrowbackThursday is a 1910 photograph of the Brooklyn Masonic Temple on Clermont Avenue, built between 1907 and 1909 by architects Austin Lord and James Monroe Hewlett. Today, the building’s owners, Empire State Grand Council, Ancient & Accepted Scottish Rite Masons, rent out its large auditorium for concerts.
